    Position Overview

    Under the direction of the Food Services Supervisor or Area Manager, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface General Hospital, the Dietetics Porter is responsible for: performing a variety of janitorial tasks in the main kitchen and cafeteria; and performing other related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Demonstrated good personal cleanliness.
  • Manual skills.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk/stand throughout the shift.
  • Ability to move heavy objects, and have the ability to climb stepladders etc., in the process of cleaning certain lights, firebells, etc.
  • Ability to withstand heat and steam.
