The Courtyards on Eagleson, located in Kanata, Ontario is looking for a Full-Time
Care Coordinator to join our team

As the Care Coordinator you would be responsible for assisting the Director of Care (DOC) with the coordinating and implementing resident care, with the goal of achieving a high standard of care, ensuring safety, and promoting quality of life for all residents.

Requirements:

Current Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
Valid Police check
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Mature and good physical and mental health

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist with training of new staff and existing staff where needed for duties required
Documentation: progress notes, incident reports, change of shift report
Assist DOC with preparation of scheduling
Assist DOC with any situation that may arise throughout the shift regarding the care of the resident or concerns from family
This position has some management on call weekends and flexibility in hours required to meet the needs of residence and the position.
