Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Production Supervisor. The Production Supervisor role is based in Delta, BC and reports directly to the Production Manager.

What You'll Get To Do:

Supervise and lead the workforce to achieve maximum production capability
Monitor operations to meet preestablished production and quality standards
Administer the collective bargaining agreement, company policies and procedures
Promote participation and ensure compliance with Group safety policies and procedures
Coordinate with the maintenance department to investigate equipment failures and resolve issues as required
Coordinate shift activities with other supervisors to increase continuity of operations
Other duties as assigned

Who we are looking for:

Minimum High School diploma
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Supervision experience
Ability to make timely critical decisions in a fast paced multitask setting
Ability and willingness to work rotating shifts, holidays and overtime as required
Extensive plant/industrial knowledge cement manufacturing background is desired
Ability to supervise and troubleshoot different kinds of technical, operational, quality and environmental issues
Cement plant experience
Working knowledge and technical understanding of cement manufacturing process and its equipment, process control systems, and lab systems
Technical College graduate with a focus on mechanical and/or control systems
Understanding of the chemistry of raw mix, clinker, and cement
Experience with SAP and Kronos

Work Environment:

Role operates primarily a professional office environment, but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels
