The Frontline Supervisor is a keystone in our Housing team.

As a Frontline Supervisor, you will work with your team to:

plan and assign tasks, delegate, monitor work assignments and staff performance, provide feedback, and ensure client needs are met.

This position ensures proper flow of communication between sites and your team, supports follow up with emergency services and others as required.

As a Frontline Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the frontline operations and safety of the site throughout your scheduled shift.


We are looking for an individual that has a proven ability to respectfully supervise assigned tasks and to effectively manage a myriad of tasks and decisions that occur on shift.

Someone with the philosophy, energy, and leadership skills to collaborate and succeed.

You will also bring sound understanding of the support needs of people struggling with low income and complex health and housing needs.


Qualifications

  • Degree or certificate in the social services field or the equivalent education and experience.
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in a supervisory role which includes experience in:
  • Direct oversight of the day-to-day operations of the site.
  • Performance evaluation including ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Providing direction and delegation of tasks.
  • Experience supervising in a unionized environment.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.

Requirements:


  • Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C.
  • Complete the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check.
  • Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clear driver's abstract.
