JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Setup and run equipment according to project specifications
  • Examine printed material and products to ensure conformity to quality standards
  • Maintain a clean work area and maintain equipment using hand tools
  • Perform regularly scheduled maintenance and preventative checks on equipment
  • Respect and abide by all Health and Safety policies, as well as all safety checks on equipment
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers regarding work in progress at shift change

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Completion of secondary education and/or equivalent
  • 23 years of related work experience running similar equipment (Polar Knife)
  • Able to read and understand instructions and follow quality procedures
  • Able to lift up to 35 lbs
  • Able to work well both independently and in a team environment
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Must hold or be eligible to attain Government security screening to secret level
