Description
We are seeking a talented Pastry Cook to join our team. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for creating and baking a variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. The position reports directly to the Executive Chef and Executive Pastry Chef.Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and baking of various pastries, cakes, and desserts
- Follow recipes and instructions perfectly to ensure consistency and quality
- Ensure that all baked goods are of the highest quality and presentation
- Help maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist in ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
- Work effectively in a teamoriented environment
Requirements:
- A passion for pastry and baking
- Formal culinary training or equivalent work experience
- Ability to follow both instructions and recipes perfectly to ensure consistency and quality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a teamoriented environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
