Description
We are seeking a talented Pastry Cook to join our team. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for creating and baking a variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods. The position reports directly to the Executive Chef and Executive Pastry Chef.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the creation and baking of various pastries, cakes, and desserts
  • Follow recipes and instructions perfectly to ensure consistency and quality
  • Ensure that all baked goods are of the highest quality and presentation
  • Help maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist in ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
  • Work effectively in a teamoriented environment

Requirements:


  • A passion for pastry and baking
  • Formal culinary training or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to follow both instructions and recipes perfectly to ensure consistency and quality
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a teamoriented environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
