    Job Summary

    The Manufacturing Summer Student will be responsible for supporting Manufacturing Excellence projects and priority initiatives aligned with the IPEX Manufacturing strategy and Excellence roadmap.

    Principal Responsibilities

  • Support the roll-out of the Manufacturing Communications strategy by crafting content passionate about topics such as Safety, Wellness and Wellbeing in the workplace
  • Document Best Practices and build a library of standard methodologies for knowledge sharing across North America
  • Collaborate with the site teams to improve plant communications, and contribute content to site newsletters and town halls;
  • Support the M&A activity with integration communications (newsletters, town hall coordination, etc.)
  • Document initiatives supporting the evolution of our EVP (Employee Value Proposition) and Workplace dignity improvements
  • Collaborate with site HR to initiate Employee Engagement Pulse Surveys, collect data, and prepare presentations of findings
  • Support the MOS implementation with data clean-up and data analysis
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Knowledge and skill requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English or Communications
  • Currently enrolled in an educational program
  • Experience with writing corporate communications, proofreading, and editing
  • Accurate and diligent
  • Skilled in handling significant priorities and problem-minimal directional supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
