Automotive Credit Analyst - Application Adjudication - British Columbia
Reports to
Credit Supervisor
The Automotive Credit Analyst is responsible for reviewing submitted Credit Applications from Dealers through Dealer Track or other similar tools.
Must be able to read, understand and evaluate credit bureau reports for creditworthiness and make sound evaluation decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answering and responding promptly to inbound calls from dealer partners for nonprime credit activities.
- Handling all customer requests with a focus of service excellence, in a timely manner.
Job Specifications
- Relevant automotive industry experiences a definite asset.
- Prior credit adjudication / credit underwriting experience required.
- Preference will be given to those with specific auto loan adjudication experience.
- Prior working experience with Inovatec
- COMPASS/JAVELIN LOS portal a definite asset.
- Familiarity / working knowledge with Dealer Track Portal an asset.
- Displays a commitment towards teamwork and collaboration.
- Energetic participation and interactions with Team chats and meetings.
- A flexible, selfdisciplined individual able to work remotely (from home) with little supervision.
- Demonstrates an excellent knowledge and understanding of reading a credit bureau report.
- Capable of working in a facepaced environment to achieve departmental service level goals.
- Able to work in a rotating shift schedule including some Saturdays.
- Strong organizational and priority management skills.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible.
- You bring a very positive energy and a strong desire to contribute and assist the team.
- Responsive and adaptable to change.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
- Ability to articulate solutions with concise direction.
- Highly analytical and metrics focused; ability to synthesize through detail.
- Demonstrated success in supporting a strategic direction and executing a supporting plan.
- Strong record of success in meeting and exceeding personal and team goals.
- History of building strong, collaborative relationships across departments
First preference is for British Columbia or Alberta residents to better assist with coverage for operational hours while striving to achieve a good work/life balance for our employees.
Job Type
- Fulltime, rotating Saturdays
- Fixed shift 117 PST or
- Fixed shift 106 PST
