Position Description

Job Duties
We are seeking a full-time gastroenterologist as a Clinician-Teacher or a Clinician-Investigator to fill a need in the field of Neurogastroenterology.

Qualifications and Education requirements- Hold an MD degree and must holds, or be eligible for, licensure in the province of Quebec;- Have completed subspecialty training in Gastroenterology;- Be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent);- Be certified by the _Collège des Médecins du Québec_;- Have completed a dedicated clinical or research fellowship in neuro-gastroenterology of at least one year, including additional specific training in anorectal and esophageal motility;- Have clinical experience in endoscopy and ability to endoscopically manage acute GI emergencies such as gastrointestinal bleeding;- Applicants should have a strong and demonstrable interest in patient care, teaching, research, and innovation;Faculty/Department/Unit: Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology
