    We are seeking an individual to complement the talented interdisciplinary team at our Workplace Solutions Division. This is your opportunity to do the work you love every day. As a Kinesiologist, Work Injury Management, you will support disability management claims and complete employer assessments. In addition, you will enjoy building strong rapport with clients through excellent customer service and an anticipation of your clients' needs.     Take an inside look at what you'll do each day

  • Coordinate stay at work programs
  • Support attendance case management activities for non-occupational injuries
  • Coordinate return to work programs for musculoskeletal injuries
  • Complete functional assessments and provide exercise prescription to address reports of discomfort
  • Support day-to-day ergonomic operations and process management
  • Complete employer assessments such as, Office Ergonomic Assessments, Physical Demands Analysis (PDA), Cognitive Demands Analysis (CDA), Post Offer Employment Testing (POET) and Functional Abilities Evaluation (FAE) to confirm job capability of essential job demands
  • Develop wellness initiatives, outreach and education programs for employees and provide counselling as necessary
  • Maintain documentation of all programs and ensure regulatory compliances are met
  • Prepare reports for employers
  • Facilitate education sessions
  • What you need to be successful

  • Approximately 2 years of clinical experience
  • Registration in good standing a Registered Healthcare Professional, with preference given to Registered Kinesiologists
  • Experience with ergonomics, Worker's Safety Insurance Board clients and job site observation is an asset
  • The ability to work independently
  • A valid driver's license and reliable access to your own vehicle
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, AODA and PHIPA
  • Empathy with an effective ability to build rapport with patients
