• Maintain a safe and clean facility by patrolling grounds, walks, and parking lots, and taking appropriate action when hazards exist.
• Provide outdoor property maintenance
• Maintain and keep all of our hotel and kitchen equipment in excellent working order.
• Keep sidewalks and steps clear of snow and ice
• Maintain outdoor lighting, replacing bulbs when needed
• Some janitorial duties
• Store equipment safely in designated areas
• Respond at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and colleagues
• Continuously monitor hotel rooms and fix minor maintenance issues immediately
• Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities
• Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests
• Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages)
• Lend a hand to some of us that just can't lift a lot of weight

• Proven experience as in hotel Maintenance or Property Management
• Indepth knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems; hotel industry experience is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in Facility Management is preferred
• Must be able to stand and exert wellpaced mobility for up to 8 hours in length
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, throughout the shift
• Must be able to kneel, bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks
• Must be able to work independently and as a team player
• Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly
• Problemsolving aptitude
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• High School Diploma or Grade 12 equivalent
• Must be able to read charts & follow checklists
• Able to complete work in given time frame
• Attention to detail & excellent prioritizing skills
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and cleaning chemicals
• Experience in hospitality or janitorial an asset
• A combination of education, training and coursework may be considered to fill this position
