    Senior Manager, Standards Product Management (Education)

    Job Summary

    The Senior Manager focuses on achieving Standards strategy and objectives promoting access knowledge and application of standards in a hybrid business model leveraging commercial and non-profit approaches. Commercially responsible for market-specific strategies for design development sales licensing/distribution and support of user-facing products services and platforms within Standards.

    • Engages with Education and Financial Strategy leaders to develop education services strategy including product roadmaps profitable business models pricing strategy organizational structure roles go-to-market approaches sales and marketing campaigns activities.
    • Leads strategic planning process for value-added products and platforms by sector recommending advances in key areas.
    • Ensures team follows consistent product lifecycle management processes annual business planning for all products services and platforms including e-commerce subscription e-reader app functionality.
    • Leads business case development for investment in products services and platforms ensuring effective project management adherence to cost quality and time targets.
    • Contributes to monthly reforecast and business analysis processes.
    • Oversees annual product marketing plan input to Marketing implementation.
    • Develops maintains relationships identifies opportunities with internal external contacts government academic industry leaders CSA committees.
    • Safeguards CSA intellectual property through copyright licensing oversight.
    • Provides leadership direction Inside Sales Customer Success teams ensuring sales policies procedures support commercial strategy.
    • Ensures effective methodologies operating procedures tools resources for product management strategic sales functions.

    Responsibilities

    • Maximize non-profit investments in education technology resources to promote standard adoption.
    • Set commercial strategy oversee development of business cases for new products services platforms.
    • Ensure portfolio lifecycle management platform road mapping.
    • Safeguard CSA intellectual property.
    • Work closely with Standards Development Product Development Marketing Sales Customer Success Information Technology Data Analytics management.

    Requirements

    • Undergraduate University degree Business related field.
    • MBA Master's Degree an asset.
    • Minimum 7 years people management experience.
    • Flexibility meeting shifting deadlines priorities market needs.
    • Strong leadership strategic organizational planning skills.
    • Bilingualism English French knowledge national international standards industry an asset.
    • Applicants proficiency French special consideration.

    Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
