    Description

    Responsibilities

  • Review the nightly notes prior to each shift, walk the specified areas in-store to ensure feasibility and assign tasks to the installers and merchandisers. Evening tasks may include:Move, build and place retail store fixturesUnderstand and follow site blueprints/floor plans for proper department setupEnsure successful merchandising of fixtures/area as per provided modularsWork out new freight for the area
  • Ensure that merchandisers work efficiently to complete their tasks.
  • Manage all provided tools/equipment inventory (rented or owned by Match) for the entire project duration, ensuring all pieces are returned upon project completion.
  • Oversee the training and development of team members on a regular basis.
  • Manage shift sign-in/out log for all team membersEnsure proper documentation and communication to the Field Manager for all absences, lateness, and disciplinary problems.
  • Complete all duty reports and surveys within strict deadlines.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with the store management and their employees.
  • Prepare a recap of nightly tasks with notes and pictures for each shiftSpeak to the tasks completed and review each morning on the scheduled walk with store management
  • Position Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of retail merchandising experience
  • Bilingual, French & English
  • Ability to travel for the role and lead store projects in different markets. All travel expenses will be covered by the company.
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs., bend and stand for 8+ hours a day.
  • Steel toe shoes required
  • Experience reading and executing planograms autonomously is required.
  • Experience in supervising staff
  • Detail-oriented, problem solving and excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships, prioritize, and coach.
  • Flexible, reliable, and friendly
  • Access to a vehicle, smart phone and internet is required.
  • Computer literate with a tablet and understand Microsoft office.
