The FireRock Lounge is a warmly-lit, intimate, chalet-style bar.

This is the perfect spot for a date night or a catch up over cocktails; a glass of wine or a cheeseboard.

The FireRock Lounge is looking for hospitality professionals to join our dynamic team in Whistler Village.

The Bar Team Leader will assist the General Manager in the running and maintenance of the bar, as well having some creative freedom to throw together specialty drinks You will have previous cocktail experience and excellent customer service skills.

With a cozy fireplace in the winter and the best patio in Whistler in summer, the lounge is always busy.

Bar Team Leader role:

Exceptional customer service whilst serving delicious drinks
Training of bar staff
Maintain service and operational standards for the bar, including assessing bar equipment and auditing bar team
Lead the creation and maintenance of cocktail lists including new and innovative products and combinations while keeping in mind costing and speed requirements
Ordering bar stock
Inventory counts
May assist in tip reconsolidation
Have proven experience as a bartender including making craft cocktails
Have a creative flare and love showing off new cocktails
Have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Love a fast paced environment
Be a exceptional team player
Be Serving It Right certified
