We currently have immediate openings for Cable TV Maintenance Technician(s) in the GTA areas.

These positions require you to work various shifts, which are primarily days, but could also include evenings and weekends depending on the business requirements.

Required Skills:

Install, maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks, RF and optical connection points to the Internet and peripheral equipment
Must be able to perform physical duties outdoors
Identify faults within the CATV distribution and trunk systems to ensure proper signal levels
Maintain RF plant and network integrity through preventive maintenance
Locate, expose, splice and repair various types and sizes of telecommunication cables
Install telecommunications equipment
Able to manage a physically demanding workload, which includes heavy lifting, climbing ladders/poles and working in all weather conditions
Able to work various shifts (days, evenings, weekends) to meet business needs
Practical knowledge of CATV architectures to include Nodes, Coax Splicing, Fault Detection and OTDR operations
Selfmotivated, demonstrated effective decisionmaking skills with limited supervision
Able to plan, organize and thrive in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment
Able to effectively work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments
Must follow safe work practices and abide by all safety rules and regulations
