Job Overview

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of manual tasks, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, digging, and cleaning
Assist in the setup and dismantling of equipment, tools, and materials.
Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Operate plant equipment including but not limited to,
Grinding Mills
Filter Press
Material Handling Equipment for Hazardous Chemicals
Pumps and Valves
Load and unload materials, products, and supplies from trucks or other transportation vehicles.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
Assist skilled tradespeople as needed, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labour and lift heavy objects up to 50lbs.
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality work.
Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and environments.
Forklift experience (Forklift ticket and asset but not required)
