Job Overview

Responsibilities

In this role, you will manage the Geomatics Services team with responsibility for the architecture, standardization, quality assurance, quality control, design, development, operation, and support of geomatic systems and geospatial data and related hardware, software and services.

You will oversee recruitment, selection, motivation, training and employee performance evaluation for the Geomatic Services team.

In consultation with the IT management team, you will make recommendations on strategic direction of the IT Division and ensure that current and proposed solutions operate within budgetary and corporate goals.

The Manager, Geomatic Services promotes a service ethic within the department and ensures that corporate solutions are implemented through proactive communication, presentations, reports, project management and facilitation.
