Full-time, on-site, permanent position

DESCRIPTION

JOB DUTIES

  • Assist clients with site planning and hardware configuration, installation and setup for A/V, media players, cabling and I.T. equipment.
  • End user hardware and software support for PC's, TV's, media players and network equipment for multiple clients across Canada.
  • Workstation and server support/maintenance, including hardware and software installations and troubleshooting for both PC and Mac.
  • Strong understanding and experience with VPN's, firewalls, routers, switches, peripherals and software knowledge required.
  • Experience with 365 and Active Directory.
  • Ensure all helpdesk calls are properly logged into Service Desk software and followed up in a timely manner to completion.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 3 years related work experience as an IT Installer/Support Technician with hands on experience supporting servers, routers, firewalls, LAN/WAN, VPNs and desktop equipment
  • Degree or College Diploma in a related field of Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with users of all skill levels to resolve technical issues to a successful outcome
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Servers, VMs, Hyper-V, Office 365 and Azure AD
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle is mandatory as travel within GTA is an occasional requirement
  • Must be able to occasionally lift AV equipment up to 4050 lbs
  • Fluency in french not mandatory but considered an asset and will be compensated additionally
