JOB DESCRIPTION


We have an exciting opportunity within our IELTS team reporting to the National IELTS Operations Manager (Canada) based out of our Toronto Office as the
IELTS Operations Lead.


POSITION PURPOSE


The
IELTS Operations Lead supports the National IELTS Operations Manager (Canada) to ensure optimization of IELTS testing operations within Canada.

This pivotal role will specifically target IELTS testing business development opportunities, supporting IELTS stakeholders and recognizing organizations, project coordination, operational support and coaching, and IELTS quality and compliance.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Performance Area:
Business Development

  • Identify opportunities for IELTS business development within the country that align with IDP IELTS core business and IDP strategic direction and priorities.
  • Work closely with the Area Director, IELTS Operations Manager, and Manager
  • DTU and collaborate where appropriate with the IDP IELTS team to scope new business opportunities, with consideration for growth, brand value and business risk. Implement the program of work to capitalise on agreed opportunities.
  • Work in collaboration with other IDP teams in cross selling and joint business development activities.

Key Performance Area:
Stakeholder Relations

  • Provide customer service to organisations that accept IELTS results.
  • Support the rollout of new IELTS support tools and products to new and existing organisations.
  • Assist the National IELTS Operations Manager, IELTS Stakeholder Relations Manager and the IELTS Commercial Director with Government Engagement as required.
  • Respond to stakeholder enquiries in a timely and effective way and make referrals to other parts of the business as required.
  • Represent IDP and IELTS at industry conferences and events as necessary.

Key Performance Area:
Operational Support

  • Coordinate and lead new regional initiatives and projects as necessary.
  • Assist the National IELTS Operations Manager, Manager, IELTS Associate Centres, and Manager
  • DTU in the daytoday operations of IDP IELTS test centres.
  • Assist with the implementation of new test centre opportunities and opening of any approved test centres.
  • Maintain current knowledge around quality and compliance issues.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Essential Requirements:

  • Understanding of IDP and IELTS businesses.
  • Excellent project management skills and understanding of critical factors to be managed from a contractual perspective.
  • Demonstrated capacity to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders (both internal and external).
  • Excellent communications and diplomatic skills and preparedness to escalate issues as required.
  • Outstanding writing skills and a demonstrated ability to produce high quality written submissions for a variety of audiences.
  • Public speaking and presenting skills.
  • Expertise across the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience using CRMs e.g. Hubspot; Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in working in a complex, uncertain, high stakes stakeholder environment.
  • Flexible approach to role and scope of work.
