Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Building Cleaner to join our team.

As a Building Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of various buildings, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for occupants.

Your primary tasks will include performing routine cleaning and maintenance duties, handling waste disposal, and ensuring all areas are tidy and presentable.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and possesses excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors, surfaces, and fixtures.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and countertops.
Empty and clean waste containers and dispose of waste in designated areas.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of common areas, such as lobbies, hallways, stairways, and elevators.
Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors to ensure a streakfree and polished appearance.
Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, requesting restocking or replacements as needed.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and use cleaning chemicals and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Cooperate and coordinate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to occupant inquiries or requests in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintain a high level of professionalism, appearance, and conduct while on the job.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, tools, and supplies.
Familiarity with safety precautions related to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks efficiently.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills to interact with occupants and team members.
Flexibility to work during nonstandard hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, if required.
