TEALEAVES, the tea purveyor of 5-star hotels and Michelin Chefs worldwide is seeking an exceptional Business Development Associate to join our dynamic team in Vancouver.

As a Business Development Associate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the growth and sales strategy for our brand.

Your responsibilities will include acquiring luxury clients across North America and Europe, fostering long standing relationships with renowned establishments such as Rosewood, Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, Bellagio, Waldorf Astoria, and Google.

Working cross-functionally, you will support the development and implementation of B2B marketing campaigns that aim to promote
TEALEAVES' luxurious collection of retail products to gourmet grocers, high-end retailers, corporate gifting companies, and cafes across North America.

As a Business Development Associate, you will:

Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key clients and brand partners.- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead identification to account management and growth, utilizing our CRM platform.- Collaborate with the team to pitch and secure new clients.- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including brand collaborations.- Contribute client interaction data to co-develop new products alongside Creative and Visual Design colleagues.- Ideate, iterate, and implement plans to elevate the brand's reputation and influence within the luxury culinary and mixology sphere.- Identify, pursue, and establish strategic partnerships with luxury hotels and iconic consumer brands.- Research, prepare, and execute strategic business development plans aligned with our social impact and sustainability initiatives.- Work closely with Business Analytics and Strategy colleagues to measure, track, and analyze business development outcomes.- Gather and analyze sales and marketing data points to refine Brand Strategy plans and SOPs.- Collaborate with the Creative department to develop compelling content assets, such as documentaries, visual design, UX, CX, and Equitable Design.

A Day in the Life:

In the Office:
Communicate with Michelin-starred chefs regarding a custom tea for an upcoming charity gala.

Nurture existing client relationships and explore any saturation/collaboration opportunities with the F&B/Culinary/Mixology/PR team at a 5-star hotel.

Update Salesforce and generate monthly dashboard reports in collaboration with the Business Analytics team.

Review exciting experiential pitch opportunities from hotel groups across North America.

Meet with the Design team to discuss packaging and art direction for a custom blend for a new boutique hotel in South Beach.

On a Trip:

Travel to various cities, including New York, Boston, Chicago, Miami, Austin, Las Vegas, Beverly Hills, San Francisco, and Napa Valley.

Attend client meetings and conduct tea tastings for chefs and mixologists.

Explore collaboration opportunities with iconic brands.

Present lectures on Biodiversity Design and the latest UN Sustainable Development Goals at events like SF Design Week.
