Here's the job opportunity
This is a 12-month contract opportunity.


Your deliverables and results fit in with the 'adaptable infrastructure' with key emphasis on rationalization, optimization, standardization, and simplification of core desktop functions.


In this key role within Infrastructure, you will:

  • Manage daytoday Desktop related Incidents & Service Requests
  • Configure and manage all Desktop technologies (e.g. Laptops, Docking Stations, Printers, Mobile devices, etc.)
  • Manage annual Laptop Refreshes and Windows OS upgrades
  • Address monthly patching and vulnerability management
  • Build/customize/package software using MS SCCM and Intune
  • Configure and manage Print Servers and Multi-Function Printers
  • Administer team SharePoint web pages and portals
  • Meet Compliance/Regulatory and Governance requirements
  • Provide professional customer service to support the business and Information Technology which includes contributing to the improvement of cross functional communication and team synergies
  • Identify opportunities for improving existing processes and new solutions
  • Build and document process improvements and solutions

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Information Technology
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft O365 Admin Portal
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell
  • Working knowledge of Proxy Auto-Configuration (PAC) file
  • Strong knowledge of all client hardware technologies
  • A+ Hardware certification an asset
