We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Marijuana Budtender to join our team for weekend mornings and on call our store hours are 9am-10pm Saturday-Sunday and 8am-10pm Monday-Friday.

This role involves assisting customers with product selection, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming retail environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for the industry, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail or hospitality are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences and needs
• Educate customers on product effects, strains, dosages, and consumption methods
• Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and inventory management
• Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the store is clean, welcoming, and compliant with regulations
• Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and assist with product filing and documentation
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Follow all safety protocols, including heavy lifting when necessary for stock movement or setup
• Support team leadership in daily operations and contribute to a positive team environment

Skills

• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems preferred
• Retail sales experience within the cannabis industries, is advantageous
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and inventory management
• Basic math skills for cash handling, transactions, and product measurements
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell effectively
• Ability to operate computer systems efficiently and perform clerical tasks such as filing and record keeping
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for stock movement or display setup
