Bookkeeper - Guelph, Canada - RLB LLP

Duties and Responsibilities
- Handing and completing books, including organizing paperwork, weekly data entry, updating daily cash flows, preparing excel worksheets and financial statements, bank reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting government remittances as required, HST, WSIB, EHT, and payroll deductions
- Performance all payroll processing
- Preparing period and year end schedules
- Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards
- All month end and year end functions
- Processing bill payments
- Preparing bank deposits and maintaining correspondence with the financial institutions
- Track accounts payables and receivables
- Other administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
- Accounting Certificate or degree through college or university. CPA not required.
- In depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Minimum of 35 years of related experience
- Experience in the preparation of financial statements and full cycle bookkeeping
- Working knowledge of MS Office software and QuickBooks
- High standard of integrity with exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Excellent work ethic, dependable, and organized
- Able to develop excellent working relationships
- Ability to work on own initiatives and meet deadlines
