Blackbird Security Inc is quickly-growing company currently looking to hire
Bilingual (French/English) Concierge Security Agents for a high
- end commercial building in
Montreal, QC.

As a
Concierge Security Agent you will be responsible for providing security services and safeguarding our client's office and warehouse building while wearing a suit.

You will be tasked with patrolling a designated area, responding to safety and security threats, establishing a security presence, and more.

This position will give preference to full-time applicants and will accept part-time applicants, and provides a 36-hour work week. Shifts are Monday-Friday.

Shift Timings:
Sunday-Thursday: 8a-4p & 4p-11:30p

Friday-Saturday: 8a-4p & 4p-2a

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintaining safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel
Patrol designated areas in accordance with outlined security procedures
Conduct endofday building check
Escort staff to their vehicle from the building at the end of the day (when needed)
Perform concierge and reception duties with the upmost care for customer service
Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents
Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly
Ability to escort trespassers away from client premises
Defuse potentially volatile situations and intervene when necessary
Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly and according to policy
Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed
Providing great customer service to clients, tenants, and patrons
Document security violations
Ability to respond well to emergency situations
Ability to work without close supervision
Valid Security License
This position may require you to wear a black suit, white shirt and black tie
Valid Driver's license and own vehicle is an asset
Previous experience in security is an asset.
Must be proficient in the English and French languages, spoken, written, and via electronics
Superior observational skills
Willingness to attend meeting and trainings to improve skills
Knowledgeable on safety processes and procedures
