TD IT Application Support covers business segment CIO technology areas or shared services technology functions. These experts interact closely with those within the Infrastructure Technology Solutions space. With a heightened focus on developing, implementing standard support models and processes using industry best practices, this role is responsible for production support, troubleshooting incident and problem management, service transition, IT change management and deployment and release management.

Here's some of what you may be asked to perform:


  • Provide courteous, efficient, and professional customer service to ensure inquiries and issues are addressed, resolved and communicated promptly and effectively under all conditions.
  • Ensure change activities are performed on time, minimizing risk to the service and business environment.
  • Identify, resolve, or escalate service delivery issues and complaints.
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of tools, processes, procedures and resources necessary to assist in problem determination, as well as recovery.
  • Prioritize activities to ensure time invested is appropriate to the availability impact.
  • Provide seamless integration of activities and processes, recognizing system interdependencies.
  • Act as an information source to colleagues, business partners and clients/customers.
  • Deliver and maintain accurate reports and documentation.
  • Follow established procedures and standards.
  • Comply with disaster and business recovery plans.
  • Maintain a secure work environment, adhere to notification and escalation processes.
  • Communicate effectively within the team relative to service issues and scheduled changes.
  • Recommend improvements and enhancements to internal departmental processes.
  • Respect TD's technology delivery practice, standards, project management disciplines.

Requirements:


What can you bring to TD? Share your credentials, but your relevant experience and knowledge can be just as likely to get our attention.


It helps if you have:

  • Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
  • 12 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Office
  • Strength in providing customer service support to clients or guidance to team members on a broad range of escalated issues.
  • Strength in prioritization and can assign problems and service issues to other team members.
  • Readiness to coordinate problem resolution and implement changes in lines with established change processes.
  • Adeptness at verifying the quality of problem resolution, changes and enhancements, and monitoring trends.
  • Willingness to work effectively as a team, unite to resolve critical service issues.
