Business Analyst / Project Coordinator
What is the opportunity?
Transformation & Enterprise Operations (TEO) employs about 2,700 members across Canada, US and around the world, operating in 30 locations across 14 countries.
This business is responsible for operating and expanding the Shared Services related to Payments and Trade, Cash Processing, HR related services such as Payroll, Employee Benefits, Contract Workers administration and Finance shared services such as GL Reconciliations, Accounts Payable and report production.
We are accountable for enhancing RBC's industry leading position in processing vast array of cash management, payments and trade products for clients on a global basis.
The Transformation & Chief Operating Office (TCOO) is responsible for driving transformation and strategy across Technology & Operations (T&O).TCOO is focused on the execution of T&O's strategy to power RBC to become a digitally enabled relationship bank, enabling transformation initiatives to drive efficiency, attracting passionate talent while driving engagement for our people and leveraging data insights to inform strategic planning.
What will you do?
- Daytoday support as assigned to the various TCOO initiatives including:
- organizational change management planning, documentation and execution
- coordination of employee opinion survey action plans
- participation in and coordination of community events and key RBC fundraising initiatives
- coordination of rewards and recognition
- other administrative support as required
- Project coordination support on assigned projects including:
- Project charter and plan development
- Meeting scheduling
- Minute taking
- Follow up on tasks and driving task completion
- Issue and risk log management
- Close off or hand over
What do you need to succeed?
- Excellent interpersonal skills along with highly developed communication skills both verbal and written
- Motivated, selfstarter with a passion to work in a dynamic business environment
- Creative and analytical thinker a "disruptor" motivated by change
- Able to manage time effectively and communicate capacity challenges/solutions
- Strong MS Office skills
- Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Openness to receiving and acting on feedback
Nice-to-have
- Capability to manage multiple priorities across a number of assignments and prioritize effectively
- Motivated and analytical, with strong achievement orientation and attention to detail
- Project coordination or project management
- Change Management
- Process Mapping and job aid creation
- Project documentation
