Job Summary
The Fire Prevention Officer is responsible for the design and administration of the Regional Fire Prevention and Safety Programs on Cree territory. The incumbent ensures consistent application of the Regional Fire Prevention and Safety Programs and its necessary updates and improvements with each community.
In addition to these responsibilities, this position also involves conducting inspections to ensure compliance with fire regulations,
developing public education programs about fire prevention,
participating in fire investigations to determine origin and cause,
and coordinating communities' fire prevention programs.
