Grant Writer and Researcher
Latincouver Cultural & Business Society - Vancouver, BC

(On-site / paid position)

Latincouver is a non-profit organization that, for the past 15 years, has been connecting over 100,000 Latin Americans with Latin enthusiasts living in Western Canada.

As of today, we are the point of reference within the Latin American community in British Columbia.

Working Hours
:30 hours per week (office)

Wages
:
$17-20 per hour depending on experience
Working period
:12 months

Duties and Responsibilities:

Researching government, foundation, corporate grants, and other fundraising or grant opportunities
Maintaining reports on a calendar of submissions and other deadlines
Writing compelling narratives for grant proposals and final reports on behalf of Latincouver
Establishing and maintaining working relationships with grant funders
Maintaining funding opportunity database and tracking system

Requirements and Skills

Exceptional English communication and editing skills.
Being detailoriented and having excellent organizational management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality, pay attention to detail and maintain accurate records.
Experience in working for fundraisings and nonprofits.
Experience with ClickUp an asset
Minimum of 2 years of grantwriting experience in Canada.
