About the role


Reporting to the Human Resources Talent Manager, the Mobility Specialist plays a critical role in the development, communication, and execution of Graham's mobility programs, with a strategic focus on optimizing the acquisition, development, and deployment of Graham's North American workforce.

The incumbent provides input on the design, implementation, and benchmarking of the mobility policies to ensure effectiveness, cost efficiencies, and competitiveness.


As a Mobility Specialist at Graham you will:

  • Act as a primary point of contact to management, human resources, employees and vendors for cross-border and domestic mobility.
  • Lead the seamless execution of all mobility programs, including proactive communication with leaders, employees, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Organize and execute all documentation supporting the mobility lifecycle including vendor service initiations and internal mobility documentation
  • Liaise regularly with vendors to ensure appropriate and timely documentation is in place.
  • Conduct research and remain uptodate with the leading developments in mobility, including legislative environments in Canada and the USA.
  • Respond to all program questions and issues, and lead conflict resolution.
  • Provide strategic input into the continued development of 'best in class' mobility programs and practices.
  • Manage mobility vendors to ensure valueforservice is obtained. monitor costs and performance and provide feedback.
  • Manage internal stakeholder and employee expectations and concerns regarding mobility programs and practices within established timelines and guidelines.
  • Coordinate duediligence processes with internal partners (tax,, payroll, HR, operations).
  • Lead a crossfunctional internal mobility committee to continue to evolve the program and support mobile employees.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Completion of a university program in a technical or business field of study; degree in Human Resources, Business, or Management is preferred.
  • 710 years of relevant experience, with 5 years in a mobilityfocused role.
  • Experience with the delivery of corporate mobility programs.
  • Understanding of where mobility fits within corporate human resources, as well as overall organizational strategy.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of domestic and crossborder mobility policies and practices, including immigration, tax, compensation, and compliance.
  • Basic understanding of crossborder tax compliance for employees and the company.
  • Exceptional client services abilities with superior presentation and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Flexibility, sense of urgency, and the ability to stay organized in order to balance priorities and work on a multitude of concurrent projects.
  • Genuine desire to support mobility of employees and their families in a caring, compassionate, and professional manner.
  • Ability to anticipate and manage change, recommending creative solutions that balance the interests of the business and employees.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
