A Careers in Motion student will work with a dynamic team of business professionals within a Transportation and Logistics business unit.

Sunbury Transport is currently seeking an

Operations Analyst Student to join our team. This position will be based in

Saint John, New Brunswick.

Responsibilities:

Work with operational teams on complete analytics project cycle: framing problem, identifying sources of data, selecting methodology for solution, modeling, and deploying solution
Develop understanding of business processes and analyze operational data to support daily management, decision making, and building alerts
Understand key metrics and build dashboards to enable efficient and effective management
Financial analysis and recommendations to support decision making
Support and participate in continuous improvement projects
Ad hoc and project work
Analysis presentation to internal and external parties
Play a key role in process automation within the business

Qualifications:

Strong analytical skills and understanding of statistics
Ability to use Cognos, Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau or other tools to build reports and data visualizations
Understanding of data management would be considered an asset
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
