Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:


Supervise Production Team:

Lead and manage a team of production workers to ensure production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards and safety protocols.


Production Planning and Scheduling:
Coordinate production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet customer demand and production targets. Monitor production metrics and adjust workflow as needed to optimize efficiency.

Quality Control:
Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet quality specifications and regulatory requirements. Conduct inspections and address any quality issues promptly.

Equipment Maintenance:
Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.

Training and Development:
Train new employees on production processes, safety procedures, and quality standards. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support employee development and performance improvement.

Inventory Management:
Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for production activities. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.

Safety Compliance:
Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. Conduct safety inspections, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries.

Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. Implement lean manufacturing principles and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, work orders, and inventory logs. Prepare and present production performance reports to management as needed.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance, engineering, and logistics, to coordinate production activities and resolve cross-functional issues.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and production techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and manufacturing software systems.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality management systems is preferred.

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the production floor for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.

$55,000.00-$59,000.00 per year
