    Description

    Kelly's customer, a Full Service Accounting, Tax, and Payroll company, operating in Oakville, ON, is looking for a Bookkeeper who wants the opportunity to expand their knowledge in accounting and tax, and work in a dynamic and challenging environment. This position services clients with a hands on approach, delivering experience, integrity and exceptional service.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Data entry of all receipts, sales, and invoices for clients as well as going over information provided to ensure everything has been received;
    • Prepare bank reconciliations for all bank accounts for clients;
    • Prepare & analyze financial reports for clients, as needed;
    • GST/HST return and WSIB return preparation and e-filing;
    • Prepare payroll and monthly payroll remittances, as required;
    • Maintain and prepare year end documentation for staff accountant to prepare corporate filings;
    • Respond to client enquires and maintain client relationships.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum 2 years bookkeeping experience, preferably in a public practice;
    • Certified Bookkeeper designation would be an asset;
    • Proficient in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online & Sage.
    • Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook.
    • Good understanding of accounting principles.
    • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
    • Excellent organizational skills;
    • Self-motivated and works well both independently and within a team environment;
    • Communicates well with clients, team members, and government agencies;
    • Capable of working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, and
    • Possesses excellent customer service skills
    • T1 & T2 Experience an Asset.

    PERKS:

    • Permanent position located in Oakville, ON.
    • Work Monday to Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm, or 8:30am - 4:30pm.
    • Salary $50k, plus benefits.
