We are seeking a collaborative, positive and resourceful Manager, Network Support to be part of our Networking team. You will contribute to network maintenance, upgrade and projects in addition to other work you're leading.

What you'll do

  • Support network maintenance, upgrades and projects efficiently
  • Review, lead all aspects of, protect, and optimize configurations, capacity, and performance proficiently
  • Lead appropriate redundancy, and failover
  • Manage oncall to support major incidents
  • Establish full operational monitoring and reporting, with handoff as appropriate to production support teams
  • Provide recommendations for improvements in the delivery/operation/maintenance of service
  • Provide capacity planning; Technology deployment architecture; Collaborator and approver of Network and Telephony highlevel architecture; Direct/Assist on assessment/advisement/planning on all patches, bugfixes, revisions, and upgrades
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Architecture Team, Security Team, and Project Managers to ensure delivery of IT commitments
  • Ensure production readiness as part implementation, and handoff to production support teams
  • Build, implement, track, and assess KPIs for Network and Telephony services
  • Evaluate/assess/estimate all Project demand requests in a balanced and resourceful manner
What you'll bring

Qualifications:

Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience architecting, crafting, installing and maintaining network systems
  • 2 years of experience leading engineering teams strongly preferred.
  • CCNP certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Experience in managing teams and with responsibility for completing complex deployment projects within budget and on specific timelines.
  • Demonstrated project management and project planning capabilities.
  • Experience with team building and mentoring engineers.
  • Project management skills, ability to manage time and complex tasks, and solid understanding of SLAs and Metrix.
  • Solid grasp of Incident, Problem and Change Management ITIL services
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectivity with a wide range of constituencies to communicate technical information and nontechnical personnel.
  • Participate in design and production deployment of new networking solutions or updates to existing environments.
  • Intermediate experience in architecting largescale global networks and documentation.
  • Intermediate experience in SDN and SD-WAN.
  • Intermediate experience with Cisco switching and routing platforms.
  • Intermediate experience and understanding of OSI or TCP/IP model.
  • Intermediate experience and understanding in technical areas: Networking Protocols/Services BGP, OSPF, IPSec, GRE, HSRP/VRRP, NAT/PAT, SNMP, MPLS, VoIP, SIP, Ethernet, Firewalls, SDN, SDA and Cisco Wireless network
  • Intermediate experience in wireless protocols and Cisco Wireless Controllers.
  • Preferred experience in network load balancers.
  • Intermediate experience in Network security, Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewall platforms.
  • Excellent problem solving skills
