Order Picker will perform tasks involving physical labour in our manufacturing plant and will be required to lift up to 50 lbs.

independently or team lifts for up to 100 lbs.

The Order Picker will be responsible for the efficient pulling of product for shipping, following all safety protocols and workplace policies.

Job Details:

Location: 400 McNeilly Road, Stoney Creek, ON.
Hourly Wage: $2022 depending on experience.
Schedule: 7:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. (2 paid breaks, 1/2 hour unpaid lunch).
Benefits: Companypaid group medical, dental, and insurance after probation.

Job Duties:

Pull product and parts required for shipping.
Measure product as required.
Confirm all product/parts listed on packing list have been pulled. Followup on items not available.
Clean and perform preparation of the work area.
Load, and unload materials.
Assist in Shipping and Receiving as time allows.
Other duties as assigned.
Follow current safety standards and procedures.

Requirements:

Ability to bend, crouch and lift items as required, up to 50lbs.
Attention to detail.
Ability to read and write.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team completing assigned activities according shipping requirements.
Commitment to product quality and safety.
Requires good manual dexterity.
Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Basic mathematical skills.
Respect diversity treat others with respect.
Willing to work overtime as required, either early or late, some weekends.
Safety footwear.

Working Conditions:

This position may be exposed to elements such as intermittent noise, dust, heat, and cold.
Use of Personal Protection Equipment (e.g. seatbelt, safety glasses, gloves, steeltoed safety shoes/boots, hearing protection, etc.)
Ability to stand for extended periods and complete repetitive tasks.
Regularly works near moving mechanical equipment.
