Description

As Business Development Associate (BDR, for short) you will be a part of the IMB Insurance Brokers Team and report directly to the COO/CEO.

Your focus is to drive business growth by expanding our network of insurance brokerages. You will conduct market research, develop business strategies, build client relationships, and identify new business opportunities. You are polished to represent our organization and the passion to grow as a professional.


PROACTIVE ACTIONS

  • Work professionally with a high degree of maturity and independence
  • Move projects along with a sense of urgency, following all lead indicators and keeping all stakeholders updated
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct research and manage project completion for the executive team
  • Support positive relationships crucial to the success of the organization
  • Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients and maintain the strength and integrity of existing relationships
  • Represent CMB at industry functions and networking events
  • Assist with drafting business plans, presentations, reference material and other documents, as required
  • You must be able to manage multiple project and meet deadlines.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:


  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to perform independently and prioritize tasks
  • Seamless project execution and excellent attention to detail
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members and, external partners
  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills
  • MBA graduate, or on track to graduate, required.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams), Able Extract, Adobe
  • Must be comfortable using a computer and able to navigate through our website.

CMB TEAM SUPPORT

  • Be familiar with and follow company policies and procedures as established (Employee Handbook, policies, and procedures, etc.)
  • Attend and participate staff meetings and other company functions
  • Demonstrate good leadership qualities with a positive attitude and ability to motivate others
  • Other related duties as required

Salary:
$55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
