Pinawa, Manitoba is looking for a
Storeskeeper. The Storeskeeper supports the WL initiative by providing a high level of customer service when shipping, receiving, unloading and delivering site materials.
What will you be doing?
- Assisting WL customers by answering inquiries or providing information pertaining to Stores services.
- Issuing requisitioned material, equipment, and supplies; review order points; conduct physical inventories/cycle counts.
- Operating company software and equipment associated with an Automated Procurement System for Issuing and Receiving and will include entering nonPO shipments into an Excel file.
- Preparing reports, scheduling and electronic mail.
- Receiving, unpacking, and storing incoming materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Preparing and packaging materials, equipment or supplies to be delivered onto the WL site or shipped to offsite destinations.
- Operating tools, equipment and machinery associated with Stores/Warehouse/Mail Material Handling functions.
- Working in a safe and efficient manner with good housekeeping skills.
- Assuring timely and efficient delivery service for site mail, materials and drinking water according to established schedules.
- Relocating, sorting, and storing surplus materials as directed.
- Identifying and reporting any real or potential safety hazards; wearing all safety equipment related to your position as well as participating in all safetytraining offered through the facility.
- Adhering to Workplace Safety and health procedures, WHIMIS program; keeping current with practices; working in a prudent and safe manner and informing other employees if they are using unsafe work practices or equipment.
- Maintaining confidentiality in all matters.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.

- Able to work extended hours and off normal work shifts to support project needs.
Experience
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Forklift operator certified.
- Three years of relevant experience in a Central Stores/Warehouse facility with responsibility for shipping, receiving, forklifting and stock issuing using an electronic database.
- Group 4 Enhanced Radiation Protection Training.
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification.
- Trained in handling of Workplace Hazardous Materials.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and Oracle 11i computer systems.
- Must complete CNL specific training as identified and scheduled by OSH and Branch Manager.
Education
- Grade 12 or equivalent in technical training and /or experience.
Security Eligibility Requirement
- Reliability Status with Site Access security Clearance with a minimum requirement of three (3) years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United States and/or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat "Standard on Security Screening" and the "Policy on Government Security".
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment under mínimal supervision.
- Must possess normal physical agility necessary to perform all aspects of the work that involves bending, lifting and mobility.
- Must be capable of wearing and working in protective clothing and using equipment as required.
- Can involve a lot of walking and stair climbing.
- Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of temperatures ranging from +30 to 40 C )
- May be required to perform overtime.
