Wallop is currently seeking an experienced
Sales Manager to join our team and play a vital role in driving the growth of our clients in the US and Canada.

As a Sales Manager, you will be involved in various aspects of the sales process, from prospecting inbound leads to reaching out to potential clients.

Your contribution will be instrumental in advancing our growth initiatives.

Reporting to the Director of Sales (DOS), you will primarily focus on the initial stages of the sales cycle.

Your responsibility will be to effectively communicate the benefits of Wallop and demonstrate our solutions to clients, while ensuring an exceptional client experience.

As our Sales Manager, you will be responsible for

  • Prospecting and

Lead Generation:
Seek out new customers and opportunities; coordinate and own early-stage conversations with potential customers that fit our positioning.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Regularly follow up with decisionmakers to build relationships and generate new business inquiries.
  • Engage new prospects who fit our positioning to set up calls or meetings.
  • Prepare sales proposals, and respond to RFPs if necessary.
  • Administer sales tools and CRMs that provide background to the executive team around prospects and opportunities.
  • Prepare 14 proposals a week with strong attention to detail.
  • Help ensure sales collateral and case studies remain up to date.
  • Assume responsibility for developing and managing new contracts.
  • Maintain accurate client records in Salesforce, keeping track of communications.
  • Collaborate and work closely with the Director of Sales.
  • Answer customer inquiries about products and services and clearly articulate Wallop's services and processes.
  • Find new opportunities to grow the business through sales, partnerships, and relationship building.
  • Attend travel and hospitality conferences, workshops, and other networking events to build new relationships.
  • Working knowledge of the Win Without Pitching, Tim Williams, and David C. Baker sales approach and methodologies.
  • Acquire expertise in the travel and hospitality industry.
  • Remain current on marketing and trends in travel and hospitality, and develop and nurture strategic relationships.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience as a Sales Executive, Business Development Representative or a relevant role.
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong cold calling experience.
  • Strong eye for detail and a love for writing.
  • Growthoriented and have the willingness to learn. Executing quickly to allow for continual iteration and experimentation are core principles on our team.
  • Naturally collaborative. You're comfortable working with a diverse group of stakeholders across the organization and making sure every voice is heard
  • Experience researching people and companies to identify new leads; conduct research to identify prospects within our positioning and target market.
  • Experience administering sales tools and CRMs that provide background to the executive team around prospects and opportunities.
  • Comfortable giving presentations.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Solutionsoriented and able to think outside the box.
  • Excellent technical, communication, and people skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
