We are seeking an Employee Services Representative to join our Employee Advisory Services team. Under the general direction of
the Employee Advisory Services Lead or delegate and with a high degree of initiative, discretion, and customer service, the
Employee Services Representative is responsible for ensuring an exceptional employee experience by acting as the first point of
contact for employees seeking support for their day-to-day HR needs. This position manages all low-risk employee inquiries and
issues, ensuring timely and accurate responses either directly or by escalation and educating employees on how to use the
self-service. This position is also responsible for updating and maintaining employee information on the Human Resource
Management System (HRMS).


_ Responsibilities:
_


  • Organizing and conducting new employee orientation and onboarding sessions, providing advice on various benefit plan
options, corporate policies, and terms of employment.

  • Updating employees' information, benefits, and organizational data on HRMS, including seniority dates for all jurisdictions, in a
timely and accurate manner while adhering to HR business processes and procedures.

  • Evaluating and interpreting HRMS system requirements and relationships between Personnel Administration, Organizational
Management, and relevant Business Process documents.

  • Evaluate, analyze, and process position and organizational management requests and ensure a high degree of accuracy.
  • Provide SAP and myHR/myTeam support to the employees regarding time, expenses, service, accruals and other related

- issues.
  • Calculating, applying, and verifying wage and salary practices in relation to collective agreements and corporate guidelines,
including but not limited to dual rates, increments, retroactive/recovery calculations, and return from leave salary
administration. Communicate with the employee the details of the retroactive/recoveries and coordinate with Payroll Advisor
for any payment arrangements.

  • Analyze and review monthly increments in detail and notify Line of the threemonth advance increments.
  • Follow up with Line management on any outstanding tasks and process actions if required.
  • Running and analyzing various HRMS reports such as integrity reports, task monitoring, reclass hours, dual rates, time, and
- expenses and ensuring follow-up actions are identified and completed.
  • Performing general administrative work, such as generating written documents and reports and participating in research
- assignments or special studies.
  • Will proactively communicate with the section lead to review any concerns that must be addressed and provide input and
suggestions on procedures and processes.

  • Minimum of Grade 12 with completion of specialized courses in Human Resources, plus a minimum of two years related

  • Indepth practical knowledge of HRMS, including the Personnel Action and Org. Management processes.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple assignments in a deadlinedriven environment.
  • Demonstrated a high level of analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Selfmotivated and capable of working under limited supervision.
  • Working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and collective agreements.
  • Possess strong PC skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Remedy.

_ Salary Range_
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $26.32-$35.10 Hourly,
$50,441.30-$67,262.26 Annually.
