Job responsibilities include the following:


Job Planning

  • Preparing for field service trip, booking flights and hotels
  • Gathering / ordering parts as required for job and shipping to job site
  • Shipping tools to job site

Traveling

  • Fly and/or drive to necessary areas to perform field work
  • Travel to remote/dangerous countries may be required Cross border traveling

Field Work

  • Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul tasks on gas turbine engines, with a specialization in the LM1600 engine
  • Provides technical to customers in the field by dismantling, cleaning, repairing, inspection, assembly and/or testing customer engines or accessories
  • Performs schedules maintenance as part of preventative maintenance program
  • Performs visual and dimensional inspection of parts determining serviceability for continued service; identifies unserviceable parts that are not reparable and initiates parts requisitions
  • Assures that all services rendered are in compliance with customer, regulatory and company requirements
  • Follows and utilizes manuals

Work Package Completion/ Paper Work

  • Maintains detailed documentations and appropriate paperwork following completion of a serviceable job
  • Maintains written reports on all pertinent incidents, accidents, problems and complaints Takes pictures as required for documentation

Customer Troubleshooting

  • Acts as a liaison with production, engineering, sales and customers in resolving customer problems and complaints
  • Assesses supplied information and troubleshoots to determine most effective action required

Requirements:


  • Prior experience working with the LM1600 engine or similar models is essential.
  • Familiarity with the 501K engine is considered a strong asset.
  • Possession of a valid passport and the ability to obtain visas, if required, is mandatory.
  • Must have a DI signoff or equivalent certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail, ensuring accurate diagnosis and resolution of technical issues.
  • Flexibility to travel frequently and adapt to changing work environments.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of professionalism and customer service.
