Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital is actively seeking applicants for a Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant. The OTA/PTA provides assistance to the Rehabilitation Services team (Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, etc.)

Qualifications:

Current Certificate of Competence from the Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy Assistant program required, or equivalent deemed acceptable to the hospital.
Must possess current BLS certificate.
One year recent PT/OT Assistant experience required or equivalent deemed acceptable to the hospital.
Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize patient care needs.
Demonstrated ability to perform duties independently.
Demonstrated ability to function productively as a team member in an interdisciplinary setting.
Demonstrated knowledge in the usage of various programs such as Cerner, Powerchart and Microsoft Office.
Skilled with the interaction of patient and families to provide patient focused, goaloriented care.
Ability to demonstrate a commitment to Privacy and Confidentiality.
Excellent attendance record and work ethics in previous positions.

Other pertinent conditions:

Salary per the UNIFOR Collective Agreement ($26.91 per hour $$27.95 per hour)
