Vista Security & Investigations, a premier provider of guard services, is currently seeking a highly organized, personable, and efficient Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for our office in Mississauga, Ontario.

Job Overview:


The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will be the first point of contact for our company, setting the tone for professionalism and exceptional service.

This role involves a blend of reception duties and administrative support to ensure the effective management of our office.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
  • Perform clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for managers or supervisors.
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Support team by performing tasks related to organization and communication.

Qualifications:


  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Handson experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers).
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Multitasking and timemanagement skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Customer service attitude.
  • High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus.

Salary:
$21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Mississauga, ON L5N 6S2: Relocate before starting work (required)
