You will support the overall Food & Beverage operation of the hotel Restaurant and Banquets.Your key duties and responsibilities are to promote and ensure guest satisfaction, maintain a safe and sanitary work environment and ensure only the highest quality products are being served, courteous service in accordance with Holiday Inn brand Food & Beverage standards.
As a Food & Beverage Coordinator you are responsible to support the Food & Beverage Management in the day-to-day operation by performing administrational and operational tasks, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:- Assist in controlling and analyzing quality levels of products and service, guest satisfaction, operating costs and sanitation
- Proactively selling the food and beverages options for the hotels and meeting spaces.
- Assist with the compilation of new menus and beverage lists
- Attend and contribute to weekly Food & Beverage departmental meetings and sales meetings.
- Inform the Food & Beverage Department on a daily basis of all relevant information on operational matters
- Answering meeting / banquet enquiries, dining reservations and arrange parties or special services for breakfast/lunch or dinner.
- Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus.
- Resolves any customer issues as necessary
- Assists in coordinating activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to patrons.
- Inspects dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness, and checks menus to ensure that they are cleaned and updated on a regular basis.
- Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service; as well as, review the special of the day if available.
- Concludes the guest's experience by thanking them for their visit and welcoming their return upon exit.
- Other duties may be assigned as business demand.
GUEST EXPERIENCE
- Displays passion in guest hospitality, exemplifies excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest and associate relations.
- Facilitates pre and postmeal/event briefings to educate associates on menu items and service issues.
- Coordinates with the Maintenance department and manages an effective repair and proactive maintenance program.
QUALIFICATION
- Previous experience in a Food & Beverage/Restaurant operations supervisory/ management role
- Diploma or certification in Hotel Management or related field will give you an advantage.
- Passion for leadership and teamwork.
- Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence.
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Serving it Right and FoodSafe Level 1 are required.
- Experience with Squirrel POS system.
- Experience with Sales Force and OPERA will give you an advantage.
- Ensures compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards and procedures by training, supervising, followup and hands on management.
- Maintains service, sanitation, food handling and sanitation standards.

Salary:
$45,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
