Are you a positive self-starter interested in supporting change in a dynamic and changing environment? We have an exciting and dynamic opportunity for a permanent, full-time
Terminal Coordinator to join our Readiness and Delivery team.

Reporting to the Manager, Terminal Operations (Readiness and Delivery) the Terminal Coordinator will act as a liaison between project managers and operational teams, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project activities in the terminal environment are developed, constructed and brought into operation safely with appropriate mitigations in place to allow for business continuity within the terminal.

Communication and critical thinking are important skills to ensure disruption to the airport's stakeholders and operating environment is minimized.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Participation in design and construction meetings to ensure design solutions integrate operational needs and that planned activities are carried out with minimum impact
  • Review and advise on phasing, hoarding plans and other mitigation plans and tactics that will impact passenger or life safety systems and other operational systems; consulting with relevant operational stakeholders as required and providing feedback to the Project
  • Coordinate communications to the real time operations staff of ongoing and upcoming activities, changes and mitigations for project work via stakeholder meetings or posted updated on SharePoint
  • Plan, coordinate and communicate any irregular operations or planned service or system outage required by the project program with key stakeholders (internal departments, airlines, tenants, CBSA, USCBP and CATSA, etc.) whose operations will be affected
  • Plan, coordinate and communicate the operational readiness, activation and transition plan to support operationalization of the project program
  • Participate in development of new processes and tools to support delivery and readiness of the project program

Key qualifications include:


  • Minimum 3 years' experience in project management, construction management, or operations as a leader or member of a project team.
  • Analytical experience in complex work environment where cause and effect implications require careful assessment
  • Experience identifying new operational strategies and implementing changes with crossfunctional/department groups
  • Experience in process/procedure analysis and design
  • Proven relationship building and negotiation experience to influence winwin outcomes
  • Meeting facilitation and effective communication skills
  • Experience in a fastpaced work environment with multiple competing priorities
  • Working with various levels of interdisciplinary staff and management both internal and externally. Navigating competing interests to make recommendations for efficient capacity utilization without compromising business goals.

Salary Range :
$72,008 to $94,115 per annum, based on 37.5-hour work week. This is individually tailored to reflect your unique experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
