B&B Contracting Group is seeking a dedicated
Health & Safety Advisor to join our growing company.


JOB PURPOSE

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The job duties performed by the Health & Safety Advisor include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the corporate safety manual, policies, and procedures are implemented and maintained throughout all projects
  • Assist with the implementation, development, and maintenance of the Company's Health & Safety and Injury Management Program
  • Support with monthly inspections
  • Assist with incident investigations
  • Conduct new hire orientations
  • Assist with coordinating injured workers' stayatwork or returntowork plans
  • Coordinate employee training
  • Maintain filing system and data entry
  • Maintain inventory of safety supplies
  • Record minutes at monthly safety meetings
  • Deliver safety training to workers (Confined space, Fall protection, Forklift, EWP)

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Occupational First Aid Level
  • Training in Construction Health & Safety is an asset
  • Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform under stressful conditions
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Effective organizational skills
  • Train The Trainer (Fall Pro, EWP, Forklift)
