Key Responsibilities:

As a Brewer at Tanner & Co., you will be a key player in our brewing operations, responsible for contributing to all aspects of beer production.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in recipe development, formulation, and scaling of new and existing beer styles.
• Executing the brewing process, including mashing, lautering, boiling, fermenting, and packaging, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.
• Monitoring fermentation and cellaring processes, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired flavors and characteristics.
• Operating and maintaining brewing equipment, ensuring it is clean, sanitized, and functioning properly.
• Collaborating with the manager to maintain accurate brewing records, inventory, and production schedules.
• Contributing to a safe and organized work environment by following established protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated passion for craft beer, with a strong understanding of different beer styles and brewing techniques.
• Experience working in a production brewery or similar brewing environment preferred.
• Solid understanding of the brewing process, from raw ingredients to packaging.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of quality control.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within our team.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Physical ability to lift heavy bags of ingredients and perform other physically demanding tasks.
• Formal brewing education or relevant certifications are a plus.
