What is the opportunity?

A little bit about you:

You are passionate about design from all angles and seek to tie in user needs to product outcomes
You advocate for the small things and are detailoriented, especially when it comes down to beautifully finessed interface design
You're a highly motivated person who takes initiative to try things out, all while actively seeking feedback from others on your team
You know how to balance being a strong collaborator and being headsdown on your own to get things done

What will you do?

Work within a closeknit design team to optimize our design system and app experience for parents and kids⁠—ensuring consistency and simplicity within our evolving brand guidelines
Jump in to support the team on challenges across the product life cycle—from identifying problems, research, ideation, and execution
Collaborate closely with developers to reach clarity and alignment on the technical feasibility, solutioning, and quality assurance of design system changes
Discover and share opportunity areas to improve internal DesignOps as well as experiences that resonate with Gen Z

Must Haves:

A design portfolio that illustrates strong UX and visual design—with a focus on mobile apps
Technical proficiency in using Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
Have a strong understanding of the product design process (from research, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and testing)
Knowledge and/or handson experience working in rapid product development and an agile environment
Strong understanding of core design principles related to typography, grid systems, visual hierarchy, colour systems, white space et
Value open communication and working on a small and transparent team

Nice-to-haves:

Experience in Banking or Financial Services
Experience in digital experiences for youth and young adult and/or gaming
A strong understanding of Accessibility and Inclusive Design practices.
