Reporting to the Plumbing Foreman, the Red Seal Plumber will:

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings of the assigned project(s).
• Plan and layout mechanical services for plumbing and HVAC piping.
• Install mechanical services per the drawing.
• Install plumbing services per the latest version of the BC Plumbing Code.
• Keeps their working area clean and tidy.
• Coordinate basic installation with other sub-trades.
• Read drawings of other disciplines. Very experienced RSP
• Comply with the job site QAQC requirements.
• Read and understand the site's health and safety policies. Ensure all rules and regulations are being followed while working on site.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Must be competent in modern technology to improve work quality and efficiency
• Red Seal Plumbers are responsible for executing procedures/tasks:
  • From start to finish including the gathering material/equipment,
  • Oversee small groups. Apprentices and or less experienced RSPs
  • Manage the material and equipment during assembly
  • Capable of being solely responsible for all tools assigned to the task
  • Responsible for identifying and conforming to any intermediate safety requirements
  • Manage removal of garbage and debris created during the process
  • Manage the testing process including Leak management
  • Will take responsibility for the task and the performance of the group
  • Process material at completion, scrap, useful material. All put-away and space clean.
• Able to lead, motivate and train apprentices.

Compensation: $43.50/h to 46/hr + 5% RRSP + 100% Company-Paid Health & Dental Benefits + Life Insurance + AD &D.
