About the Role:
We are looking for a Child and Youth Care Worker for Fexable Shifts to work in multiple houses with children and youth ages 3 to 17.
Changes For Hope Inc is an Agency who supports and provides care for youth dealing with issues of healthy connections, trauma, loss, and grief.
Changes For Hope focuses on the Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual aspects of each youth in our care, understanding that each is at a different place on their journey.
We are seeking dedicated a professional caregiver to work within a home-like environments.You are responsible for the full home cleaning to AHS standards, evaluating the needs of client, implementing service plans, administering medication, and maintaining documentation, appointments and recreational activities.
Building meaningful relationships with the client and the community makes you an effective member of a team dedicated to client care.
Successful applicants will be conscientious, resourceful, team-oriented, and flexible. Experience working with individuals withdevelopmental disabilities,
challenging behavior and high risk youth is preferred.
Education and Qualifications:
Your ability to execute creative service plans for children and youth in group care, understanding of AHS and Licensing cleaning standards, strong written and oral communication abilities along with your well-developed supervision and program implementation skills support you in this important role.
Your
Diploma/Degree in Child and Youth Care, Disability Studies (or equivalent) and your strong understanding of
developmental disabilities, and trauma informed care will ensure your success in this position.
A vehicle and valid driver's license are required.
1 Year experience in Child and Youth Care or equivalent experience in Human Services Field

Must possess current clear criminal record check and child welfare records check. (Within the last six months)_

Must have COVID 19 Vaccinations/Boosters_
Prefer First Aid and CPR, Suicide Intervention, Non-Violence Crisis Intervention, Medication Administration (within the last six months), Brain Story Certification.
Must possess the ability to maintain a professional, open, and cooperative work relationship with co-workers conducive to meeting the need of the youths
Capable and willing to work with clients who are involved in Children Services
Must provide current Driving Abstract (within the last six months)
Ability to lift 50lbs.

Salary:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour
