The Benjamin Moore Vancouver group has been selling paint and decorating products in the Greater Vancouver Area for over 20 years.
Starting from a single store at the tail end of the 90s, the group has grown to be Western Canada's largest Benjamin Moore retail group by focusing on excellent customer service and evolving its assortment and service offering ahead of industry changes and trends.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is located in Coquitlam and reports to the Store Manager.
The Customer Service Representative will perform a wide variety of duties including but not limited to:
Assist customers in their selection of paint by providing an authentic, enthusiastic, and positive retail experience.
Maintaining the store floor in a clean and professional manner and assisting with visual merchandising, stock management, and replenishment.
Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement by actively participating in store meetings as necessary and being passionate and knowledgeable about the company, brand, and industry.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and Education
Previous retail or customer service experience is desired, but not necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
High energy with a positive attitude
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Dedicated and motivated to achieving both individual and store targets
Passionate and knowledgeable about the brand
Customer service skills, including problem solving and handling customer complaints
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Experience using point of sale systems
Fluency in a second language is an asset
COMPENSATION RANGE
$ $20.00 per hour
